Meet the Director

Maria Peters
LSLC appointed Maria Peters director in 1998. Under Peters’ leadership the preschool has won the Favorite Child Learning Center four years in a row by the San Fernando Daily News Readers’ Poll. While managing the school’s administrative needs, budget and regulations, Peters’ prefers to remain involved with its basic duties that are part of the heart of LSLC.

Peters’ first began her preschool career in 1991, and in 1995, she began working at LSLC as a teacher and assistant director. After multiple offers, Peters’ accepted the director position in 1998, seeing it as an opportunity to positively be involved with every student, faculty member and parent.

Also as the director she commits herself to the spiritual counsel of the children and adults she interacts with every day. Her focus is to make LSLC one of the most prestigious preschools in the San Fernando Valley.
